Answers on the back… A responce to the prick who left the comment, get off your high stool! It doesnt hurt to use the word partner instead of father. Things need to change so that we become equal! Lezwife,
While I understand your point of view on using the word Partner instead of father and how that applies to your life, child, situation… but what about fathers do they just get called partners and do moms then also become partners in order to ensure fairness to families consisting of two men?
I am not trying to offend you in anyway. I just wanted to point out that there is going to people (fathers) that probably take some offense to the f-word post. I know mine was not to thrilled with it (I told him to ignore it as it wasnt meant to be an attack on fathers)
Maybe a better solution would be for goverment forms to just a spaces for parents, I mean that is what we all are and I dont think that would offend anyone.
I just reread my comment and I dont think i expressed myself very clearly…. here is my comment in a logical format.
First off I dont know why anyone would tell you to get off your highstool that was rude at best…. I understood where your were coming from in your f-word post. My husband on the other hand did not he was offended as he took it as a personal attack on fathers. So maybe that is how the person who left the high-stool comment took it.
If the government, schools etc changed there forms to just have a few spaces for parents instead of one for mothers info and one for fathers I think that would go a long way towards showing acceptance. I do not however think that most websites are going to change anything they are written for the mases.
